Nissho-kan: Inn with Live Ise Lobster Cuisine

Price on request · Traditional Ryokan

Nissho-kan is a very small inn on the Futami coast, with six rooms looking across Ise Bay. Tatami rooms and the sound of the shoreline provide a simple setting with little separation between the lodging and its maritime surroundings. The design is plain, but the scale gives the stay an appealing directness.

Live Ise lobster is the defining meal ingredient, supported by other seafood from Ise-Shima. Dinner is available with advance arrangements, giving the seafood a central place in the evening. The cooking is ingredient-led, with the lobster and surrounding catch carrying the meal.

The property uses an artificial Tron bath. Nissho-kan should therefore be chosen for its sea-facing rooms and lobster dinner, not for onsen depth. It suits travelers who prefer a small, uncomplicated coastal inn over a facility-rich resort.
