Ryuusenkaku is a 28-room Arima property built to make a ryokan stay workable for families. Tatami rooms with verandahs were renewed in 2018, while an indoor pool and dedicated children’s areas give younger guests space beyond the room.
Every room receives dinner in private. Seasonal kaiseki includes Kobe and Tajima beef, allowing families to eat at their own pace without moving through a formal restaurant. The service model favors comfort and ease over hushed exclusivity.
The inn draws iron-rich gold water from its own source for communal, open-air, and private baths; selected rooms also have an outdoor bath. The mineral depth is serious even when the wider atmosphere is playful. Ryuusenkaku is best for families who want authentic Arima water without giving up practical facilities.
