Hitachi Yukai no Yado Hagiya

Hitachi Yukai no Yado Hagiya faces the Pacific on Mizuki Beach, placing ocean views at the centre of both the rooms and the bathhouse. Its bathing concept comes from the coast itself: one tub uses kajime seaweed extract, another heated seawater, and a stone-heated area offers a slower form of relaxation.

The water is not geothermal onsen, but the use of local seaweed and salt gives the baths a character that could not easily be moved inland. Wide windows keep the horizon present while guests bathe.
