Arima Onsen Kotori

Kotori is an eight-room annex created as a smaller, more relaxed counterpart to Hanamusubi. Six Japanese rooms and two Western rooms keep the mood intimate, while one accommodation adds its own open-air bath.

Seasonal meals are carefully prepared on a scale suited to the small house. Complimentary tea and coffee in the Tomarigi lounge reinforce the informal character, and a whole-house rental option makes Kotori particularly appealing to a close group.

The inn’s own baths use clear radium-rich silver spring water. Guests can also walk to the sister property for its iron-colored gold spring and additional bathing. Kotori offers a rare two-water Arima experience without the scale of a large hotel, making it a good match for guests who prize quiet and flexibility.
