Kiraku

Kiraku stands above Lake Kamo in Sado’s Shiisaki district, with tatami rooms and the upper-floor bath looking over the water. The landscape links the inn naturally to the island’s ibis stories and to the fishing and oyster culture around the lake.

Shiisaki’s sodium chloride spring supplies the panoramic communal bath and the outdoor Toki no Maiyu. Guests can also use the Yuraku Nagaya private open-air baths without charge, giving couples and families a more secluded way to soak.
