Hagihime no Yu Eirakukan

Eirakukan is only a short walk from Bandai-Atami Station, yet its upper-floor baths open toward the surrounding mountains. The bathing water blends the inn’s own alkaline simple spring with the municipal source, creating a generous supply across two large baths and open-air pools.

Room choices range from traditional tatami to Japanese-modern layouts and rooms with open-air baths. A panoramic bath introduced in 2025 adds a higher viewpoint, while a private sauna and outdoor cooling area give sauna users a separate sequence from the communal baths.

Dinner is a Fukushima course meal that can bring together local beef, seafood from the Joban coast and seasonal vegetables. Eirakukan works well for travellers who want broad facilities and simple rail access without giving up regional food or mountain scenery. Its strength lies in range and ease rather than the intimacy of a very small ryokan.
