Yunogo Onsen Yasashisa no Yado Chikutei

Yunogo Onsen Yasashisa no Yado Chikutei stands in the hot-spring town of Yunogo in Mimasaka, Okayama. Rooms range from Japanese layouts of 8, 10 or 14 tatami mats to Japanese-Western rooms with two semi-double beds. The 14-tatami rooms in the Kaze building look across the town and surrounding mountains. Some smaller room categories involve stairs, so guests with mobility needs should discuss room selection with the inn.

Bathing includes top-floor communal facilities, an outdoor bath and two baths available for private use. The men's top-floor bath overlooks Yunogo's townscape and mountains. Private sessions last 45 minutes and can be arranged by telephone. For bathing without leaving the room, choose a category with its own open-air hot-spring tub made from Okayama-grown hinoki cypress.

Seasonal Japanese course meals are offered under the Ume, Take and Matsu plans. Menus vary by season and plan, with Okayama beef and locally grown rice among the recurring ingredients. Children's meals and a Japanese breakfast are also available.
