Tara Takezaki Onsen Ichifukuso

Ichifukuso is an eleven-room inn directly above Takezaki fishing port, with every room looking toward the harbor. Japanese and Western rooms are simple, allowing the boats and working waterfront to establish the atmosphere.

The owner, a former fisherman, selects Takezaki crab and other Ariake seafood personally. Tiger prawn, small shrimp, oysters, and pen shell join the crab in full seafood courses, giving the meal unusual authority.

Sodium bicarbonate water supplies the large hilltop bath and a private bath.
