Ryokan Okayama occupies a sure-footed position in the Akakura Onsen district of Myoko, where the mountain draws water from a single source and delivers it, without recirculation or addition, into hinoki baths that smell of the forest.

The water from Mount Myoko, flowing without interruption into a private hinoki bath at night, is what a guest carries home.

With 12 guest rooms, Ryokan Okayama operates at a compact scale that keeps the stay close to the room, bath, and table. Bathing includes open-air spring water and private facilities, although room-attached baths and reservable shared baths should be distinguished when choosing a room.
