Ryokan Kinsui

Kinsui is a fifteen-room family-run inn in Kurume, combining Japanese tatami accommodation with Western rooms. Its practical urban character makes it useful for gatherings and local stays rather than positioning it as a secluded resort.

The head chef trained in a traditional restaurant and prepares courses built around Kurume horse sashimi and beef. That culinary grounding gives the inn a more serious table than its simple building might suggest.

A large communal bath uses ordinary heated water; there is no natural hot spring, outdoor bath, sauna, or private bath. Kinsui is best chosen for family hospitality and regional cooking, with bathing serving a basic role.
