Harazuru Onsen Ryokan Sato-so

Sato-so is a compact eight-room inn in Harazuru Onsen, surrounded by the broad agricultural landscape of Asakura. Its small scale and traditional rooms favor quiet over resort activity, while a special room opened in 2023 adds its own indoor bath.

Dinner follows a familiar regional ryokan pattern, using seasonal Kyushu ingredients without making the kitchen the sole focus. The mood is hospitable and unshowy.

Weakly alkaline high-temperature water rises from a 230-meter source and supplies the large communal bath with free-flowing use. The bath program is intentionally simple, without a public outdoor bath or private rental bath.
