Hekisui Gyoen

Hekisui Gyoen looks across the water in Kyotango's Kumihama area, pairing bay scenery with traditional Japanese and sukiya-style rooms. With 14 rooms, it offers a relatively contained atmosphere and a closer connection to the landscape than a large coastal resort.

The bathing range is a major draw. Natural onsen, free-flowing kakenagashi water, indoor and outdoor baths and selected in-room hot springs are all part of the experience. A private bath can be selected or booked, allowing travelers to choose between a room-centered stay and the shared bath circuit.

Seasonal cuisine is offered, although the precise dinner style should be checked for the chosen plan rather than assumed to be formal kaiseki. Dietary accommodations, the child policy and the establishment year have not yet been confirmed.
