Atsugi Iiyama Onsen Motoyu Ryokan

Motoyu Ryokan lies beside a stream in the wooded village of Iiyama, close enough to Tokyo for a short retreat but visually separated from the city. Guests pass through a dramatic gate and lanes resembling an old castle town before reaching detached-style Japanese rooms set among flowering gardens.

The strongly alkaline spring runs free-flowing through large indoor, open-air and private baths. Selected rooms add their own open-air bath, allowing the water and garden to remain part of private time.
