Hoshifuru Yado Seian

Seian limits the stay to four parties a day on a quiet Yufuin hillside. The intimate format is designed around time spent in the guestroom, with every room opening to its own outdoor bath.

Freely flowing natural spring water and a view of the night sky give the bathing experience its focus. On clear evenings, the private tub offers a particularly quiet way to enjoy the setting without moving into a communal bathhouse.

Meals feature local flavors, including Oita wagyu according to the plan. Seian will appeal to couples who want a small retreat whose main pleasures are private bathing, a regional dinner and the space to slow down. Its distinction lies in the limited number of guests and the close relationship between the room and open air.
