Yukibou Hakusen

Hakusen is a 36-room Kaike ryokan whose tatami-matted lobby opens the stay with a clear Japanese character. Rooms and public spaces look toward the Sea of Japan, keeping the coastal setting present throughout the building.

The chef’s kaiseki draws on Sanin seafood and seasonal ingredients. The format is traditional and well suited to the inn’s established seaside identity, with the meal serving as a calm counterpoint to the broad view.

Chloride spring water supplies communal and outdoor baths, and selected rooms include an outdoor tub. A sauna adds another option. Hakusen suits travelers who want a conventional ocean-view ryokan with a coherent dinner and genuine Kaike water.
